Iskander Ali Mirza was the first President of Pakistan, serving from 1956 to 1958. He helped shape Pakistan’s early political system and introduced its first constitution, which made the country a republic. However, his time as president was filled with political challenges and instability. In 1958, he imposed martial law to take control but was soon removed from power by General Ayub Khan. This marked the end of his political career.
