(Zarb-e-Azb)

Zarb-e-Azb was a military operation launched by the Pakistan Armed Forces in June 2014 to eliminate terrorist groups, including the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), from North Waziristan. The operation aimed to dismantle militant strongholds, disrupt their networks, and restore peace in the region. It was highly successful in reducing terrorism across Pakistan, with significant gains in reclaiming territories and neutralizing militants. The name “Zarb-e-Azb” refers to the “Strike of the Prophet’s Sword,” symbolizing resolve and strength. The operation marked a turning point in Pakistan’s fight against terrorism.
